Scholarships and stipends offered by Sigma Delta Pi: Collegiate Hispanic National Honor Society
Scholarships and stipends to a number of locations in Spanish-speaking countries are available to current members of the Truman State chapter of Sigma Delta Pi. Truman credit can be earned for participation in the Veritas program and for stipends ($2000) used for study abroad through a Truman-sponsored program.
Applications must be submitted to the faculty advisor of Truman’s Rho Rho chapter of Sigma Delta Pi.

This is a scholarship specifically for students who desire to pursue a career as a French teacher. It is a $2,000 scholarship applicable for semester or year long programs.

Pi Delta Phi: The French Honor Society. Joseph W. Yedlicka Awards
This is a scholarship for students who wish to study the French language or Francophone literatures and cultures. It covers tuition for one summer term and is accompanied by a $1500 travel grant.

Pi Delta Phi: The French Honor Society. The Mary E. Gutermuth Award
Full tuition summer-session scholarship--five weeks including housing, board and activities fee--to the University of QuÃ©bec at Chicoutimi and is accompanied by a $500 maximum travel grant.

A $900 travel grant for study in France offered to students who are double majoring in French and another discipline.

Up to $5,000 in Study Abroad Awards.
The deadline for Spring 2015 applications is October 7, 2014.
Recipients receive a stipend for $2,500 for semester long programs and $4,000 for year long programs. In addition, Morgan Stanley Japan will offer two $7,500 scholarships to students studying economics and finance.
Deadline: The deadline for programs starting in the Spring of 2015 is October 8, 2014.
This scholarship can be applied to semester or year long programs in Germany.
All applications for the academic year 2015/2016 must be postmarked by January 31, 2015.
Boren Scholarships are funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP). Boren Scholarships provide up to $20,000 to U.S. undergraduate students to study abroad in areas of the world that are critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad.
Maximum scholarship awards are $8,000 for STEM summer programs, $10,000 for semester programs, and $20,000 for year long programs.

Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grants
Fifty $1,000 grants are available.

Truman State University Foundation Scholarships - For degree-seeking Truman students only.
To apply, students should log in to TruView, go to the Student Tab, then Student Finances, and click on Foundation Scholarship Applications.
Applications for the spring semester are available in early October and the deadline is November 1. Applications for the fall semester are available in early February and the deadline in March 1.
